As the doors closed on our Wedding Open Weekend here at Town Head Estate, we’ve been left with full hearts, tired feet, and a huge sense of gratitude. Over two beautiful days, we welcomed so many wonderful couples, families, and friends through our doors – and every single conversation reminding us why we love being part of people’s wedding stories. It was such a pleasure to meet you all.

Despite the ever-changing Lake District skies (because it wouldn’t be Cumbria without them!), we were treated to moments of Winter sun over the fells, mist rolling across the lake, and that unmistakable calm that makes this place so special. It was the perfect backdrop for imagining “I dos”, confetti throws, and long, laughter-filled celebrations.

Inside, the venue was alive with ideas and inspiration. From styled ceremony spaces to candlelit tablescapes, it was a joy to see couples wandering, chatting, and picturing how their day might look here. Some arrived with notebooks full of questions, others just starting their wedding planning journey  – and watching those first sparks of excitement turn into real possibilities was genuinely magical. A huge thank you to those amazing suppliers who made it all possible!  

It was amazing to hear your stories, proposals, plans, and hopes for the future reminded us that every wedding is completely unique — and at Town Head we know that’s how it should be. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate elopement in our Boat House, a relaxed weekend celebration, or a full-scale party with all your favourite people, it was a privilege to talk it through with you.

To everyone who joined us: thank you. Thank you for your time, your energy, and your excitement. And to those who couldn’t make it but are still considering us – our doors (and inbox) are always open.
