Introducing “Marguerite”, the latest and most exciting addition to the Town Head fleet. A brand new Princess F45 luxury motoryacht, operating directly from our jetty at Town Head, and available exclusively for hire by our couples as part of their wedding celebrations.
Marguerite is one of the most luxurious yachts available for charter anywhere in British waters. On board you will experience the same exceptional personal service and attention to detail that has become synonymous with Town Head Estate wedding venue.
With multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas ideal for entertaining family and friends, a bespoke charter on board Marguerite is the most luxurious way to make the most of your time on Lake Windermere whilst enjoying total privacy and the tranquillity of being out on the water.
From a quick trip with your photographer to capture the perfect wedding day shots surrounded by the most stunning mountain scenery, a champagne cruise the evening before your wedding, to a full day out to explore the length of Lake Windermere, we can accommodate any itinerary to fit in with your wedding plans at Town Head.
"Marguerite" The Yacht
Marguerite is a brand new model F45 flybridge yacht from the titans of the British yachting industry, Princess.
Offering the perfect size flybridge with contemporary design and flexible space, this yacht has been crafted with on-deck entertaining in mind. Panoramic windows flood the main deck saloon with natural light allowing you and your guests to enjoy the most incredible of views. The sound system allows you to play your own music throughout the yacht, and underwater lights create the perfect atmosphere for evening cruises.
Two en-suite bathrooms in the lower deck provide shower and changing facilities should you decide to pause for a swim or a paddleboard during your cruise.
The yacht is designed to offer maximum luxury entertaining space in any weather and is licenced to carry a maximum of 12 people, including the crew of 1 or 2 (depending on your requirements).
Charter Options
Should you wish to charter the beautiful Marguerite, then she will be moored ready and waiting for you and your guests at the Town Head jetty fully valeted with skipper to welcome you on board.
Pricing -
Prices begin at £1,500 for a two hour charter, with £500 for each additional hour beyond that. So whether it’s a 2 hour trip for you and your new spouse for photos and champagne after the ceremony, or a half/full day package cruising around beautiful Lake Windermere with your guests on the days before or after your wedding day, your trip aboard Marguerite will be truly unforgettable.

We can supply a range of drinks packages to suit, together with a crew to look after you and your guests during your trip.
Weather -
If the weather turns cold and rainy, then it is still entirely possible to thoroughly enjoy a cruise on Marguerite. You will without doubt be the most comfortable guests on the lake that day, with full heating, plenty of indoor space to relax and endless hot drinks from the fully functioning galley! However, all charter bookings are weather-dependent, and if the conditions on the lake are determined by the skipper to be too windy or in any way unsafe for boating then you will be offered a full refund.
Booking -
Marguerite is available exclusively for use by wedding guests at Town Head. However, we require bookings to be made well in advance (ideally 6 months) in order to ensure we can arrange the crew. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
