Town Head Estate is a photographer's paradise bursting with picturesque locations to explore and enjoy. From the newly landscaped kitchen gardens, charmingly rustic original glasshouse and croquet lawn, to the extensive parkland leading all the way to the shores of Lake Windermere itself. If you're looking for somewhere a little higher, we also have 70 acres of hillside leading up to Gummer's How with amazing views over the Town Head to Windermere.
The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse is our original, rustic kitchen greenhouse which has created a unique opportunity for photos for your wedding album. This is a space much loved by wedding couples and their photographers alike.
Our Wedding Buggy
Access to the various spaces is straightforward. However, we will always have our trusty wedding buggy on standby should you or your guests need some assistance getting around the estate. It’s also handy for whisking you and your photographer away at the last minute with shoes intact for those beautiful golden hour photos at the lake!
