Create unforgettable memories at our Boat House and Jetty

The Boat House and Jetty at Town Head Estate offer an exclusive and intimate wedding venue on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District.

Town Head is host to a beautiful Victorian boathouse on the lake shore with its shingle beach and a gorgeous day room above.

If you are planning a weekend celebration, then the Boat House gives you the opportunity to plan something truly unique. It has full lighting and underfloor heating, so why not invite your family and friends for drinks on the balcony the night before the wedding, or perhaps enjoy a barbeque on the beach and a play on the Lake. The recent addition of the jetty means that you could arrive by Boat, or else treat your guests to a cruise on the lake as part of your celebrations. We work regularly with Windermere Lake Cruises who have a variety of launches depending on your guest numbers. Both the Boat House and the lake shore are licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies. The Boat House itself would seat up to 30 comfortably for a ceremony, whereas guest numbers outside on the Lake shore are essentially unlimited.

You are welcome to use both the Boat House and the jetty for your photos at no additional charge.

We'd love to hear from you.
